Bill,
I just got back from a trip and am working through 600 odd e-mails.
The small inlet hole is pressurized, what pressure I don't know. What your doing seems OK to me, I noticed you mentioned this a while back and didn't bother to comment, as it seemed OK then. It's just one of those nifty innovations you can't really use with an Aviation modification - so use the hole for vacuum.

I just read an article on the Renesis and the following comment was found:

"A small tube within the intake manifold provides a small, high-speed air
curtain, which enhances fuel atomization."

This is the first I have heard of this use of that tube.  I have a hose
connected to that tube which I am using to provide vacuum to my fuel
pressure regulator.

Should this tube be left open to provide that "air curtain".?
