The small inlet hole is pressurized, what pressure I don't know. What your doing seems OK to me, I noticed you mentioned this a while back and didn't bother to comment, as it seemed OK then. It's just one of those nifty innovations you can't really use with an Aviation modification - so use the hole for vacuum. George (down under) > I just read an article on the Renesis and the following comment was found: > > "A small tube within the intake manifold provides a small, high-speed air > curtain, which enhances fuel atomization." > > This is the first I have heard of this use of that tube. I have a hose > connected to that tube which I am using to provide vacuum to my fuel > pressure regulator. > > Should this tube be left open to provide that "air curtain".? > > Bill B > > > -- > Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/ > Archive and UnSub: > http://mail.lancaironline.net:81/lists/flyrotary/List.html > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG. > Version: 7.5.524 / Virus Database: 269.23.11/1422 - Release Date: > 8/05/2008 5:24 PM >
