It doesn't make sense to throw away those $250 injectors (Mazda price) and buy something to fit those little chunks of aluminum you bought. Put the injector bungs in a lathe and turn them out to fit. Or start with a fresh chunk and make from scratch. I doubt you could replace those rather unique 20B primary injectors no matter how badly you wanted to. Again, the world is not standardized around that very rare orphaned car engine you are putting in the plane. I get 3 - 5 emails or calls every day from builders surprised that things don't seem to be fitting together.  There seems to be some kind of expectation that the whole world is standardized around this one of a kind airplane they are building.   Don't *expect* anything to fit unless you have verified it or made it fit yourself.

OK, enough kvetching from me.

Hey Tracy;
The injector bosses from SDS arrived today, and the Mazda injectors don't fit (big surprise).  What do I use instead, and what size?  Should I also replace the ones in the block, or go with them for a while?  Will this make any difference in the ECU mapping?
Thanks;

AFIK, Tom Parks is the only other 20B turbo flying (very few hours).  I don't know the specs. or even the make but I think it was a Turbonetics.

Ain't it fun being a pioneer? :>)
