by building a 1/2" spacer to match the thickness
of the engine mount plate, is there any reason I can't use this oil
pickup? it is plastic, but has a nice internal screen and the tip rests on
the oil pan bottom (or very close to it, judging from an eyeballed guess).
my 20B had steel parts, my only prior experience.
