If this turns out to be true I am sure Ford will do the same as Ford and Mazda are one of the same.
Wow what an impact this could have on a lot of people trying to make a living and just trying to have fun.

Hi everyone,
I have just one little bit of information about auto conversions.
This only concerns Mazda. They are threatening law suits against
anyone using a Mazda engine for aircraft purposes. I'm assuming they
are going after the folks that are trying to make a business of
selling engines or redrives and not the DIY guy. I am involved with a
project with one of these companies and it is a very real threat. It
makes me wonder if Subaru will be next. It would be hard to spend
resources to make an auto conversion knowing the manufacturer may
shut you down. They have very deep pockets and could break you before
it ever went to court. This really sucks as it will hurt us all.
