things
look good for my attempt to fly to tracys from Portland this week.
could someone send me the GPS coordinates for the fly-in? I've flown
to SNF 4 times from OR so I've probably gone right by, recognizing cross
city which I heard is close by. I don't plan on pushing it this time
and hope to make it in 2 1/2 days. I can offer free rv-6a rides for
some lodging.(sorry, it's an O-320) I'm figuring stops near phoenix
or north of there, and eastern TX or MS, Louisiana, the next leg.
yes, the secret's out, you've read the extent of my flight planning.
flying VFR you don't have a whole lot of choice, Ma Nature tells you where
and when. maybe I'll check out that outer slobovia, the name alone
has me curious. last trip I almost got to meet the blue angels in
flight in pensicola. "N3773 turn immediately, blue angel traffic
1 mile" I was at 250' taking photos, but I guess the blue angels
could well be at 250' also. the scary thing was that I never saw
them.Kevin Lane Portland, OR
