Subject: [FlyRotary] crank angle sensor plug

Hi, fellow rotary enthusiasts....I am trying to finish wiring up my Mirco-Tech ECU.  I am at the stage where I need to wire up the crank angle sensor.  My CAS already has the Mazda, or factory plug on it.  Does anyone have, or know where I might obtain the mating plug to complete my wiring? Thanks in advance for your replies. Paul Conner

Paul,

I went to a salvage yard and checked a few Rx-7s.  Most still had the wiring harness in them including the one with the other end of the plug you are looking for.  clipped it off and paid the man $5.  If you have any salvage yards around you might check there.

One thing to be careful about.  While the color code for the wires on the sensor end of the plug has stay fairly consistent through the years I have looked at.  The color code on the other plug has changed from year to year.  So, don't assume that you match color to color - check it out.
