Are you able to get insurance?  I ask that first, because I've been made aware that it is very difficult to get for first flight/phase I, and if you get it, it's VERY expensive.

So, next question...What kind of premiums are being paid?  Hull values?

Where are you getting it, if you have it?

Liability coverage is relatively easy to get; and not terrible expensive.  Hull coverage is very expensive, and is a bit of a farce, since if the plane is damaged you are going to fix it yourself anyway, or the salvage value may still cover a good portion of your out-of-pocket costs. Premiums will depend on your experience.

I got the best rate for coverage for my Velocity 20B through AUA (Pam).  Full coverage including $100K hull is $3400 for this year.
