Hey, I'll bet 16 HP counts a lot in your endevor {:>). I'll admit I may
have had doubts about an EWP in aircraft use, but clearly, with so many
manufactuers turning out EWP there just must be some validity to their
claims {:>). There are probably a dozen reason why they are not installed
in passenger cars and I doubt any of them have to do with whether they would
work or not. I'll bet the its cheaper to stamp out the mechanical pumps
than EWPs, plus the reliability of the mechanical pump is fairly well known.
Plus they usually give you some sign before they go belly up (well, a lot of
the time anyway).
Anyhow, glad you are on this list as well and here to share your experience
and viewpoints with us.
