George, the 20 years before I retired, I worked in
the natural gas industry and from my experience a dozen low pressure gauges
right out of the box would not yield more than two or three with the same
reading. I have a Mallory pressure regulator from Jegs, part # 650-4309
which the instructions stated it was set at 3 pds. for the Weber carb. It
is hooked to an auto gauge, but I haven't put the fuel in yet. I guess if
it doesn't overpower the float needle value, I'll just go with the reading that
comes up on the gauge, unless there is a fuel starvation issue.

regulator
Yvon,
Thanks Mate! - it seems that most, if not
all, Automotive fuel pressure gauges are inaccurate. I read Paul Yaw's
write-up on them and it would seem Industrial pressure gauges 1- 5 PSI
are best for Carb n/a applications.

Holley Performance Products offers both
mechanical and 12 volts electric pressure gauges. I have been using the 0-16
psi electric gauge and sender for more than 5 years without problem.

Chaps,
I'm looking for an Adjustable fuel pressure
regulator for a carby (NA- low pressure) with pressure gauge - any
suggestions? I have looked at the Malpassi.
