Hi Ed;
    Yea, I'm still here only half way to the pole and yes weather has been nice but as always time is short. I still at least skim over all the list emails every night but usually resist the urge to get involved in threads as I type too slow, No time for that  ;-) . So I'm guess I'm reduced to mere lurking status :-( .
    I thought when I moved my plane home, I'd find myself obsessed with working on it as I was for 3 years of building, but I just don't want to get into it until I have time to commit fully. At least it's protected in my shop and at home, not costing me anything and the time will come when I can fly it again. I just hope it's before I retire in 25 years. :-P
    I was doing some concrete work in the shop recently using my skidsteer, when I accidentally bumped into the wings in their cradle. No damage whatsoever, but the hollow aluminum sound reverberated right through me and left me feeling rather hollow myself as I expected that I'd just taken a huge step backwards from flying again soon. Extreme relief when I found only a barely visible paint scuff.
    Back to lurking mode now.
    Todd      (maybe Tracy will have the datalogger ready before I'm ready again)

Hi Todd,

You've gotta stop working so hard and play a bit - get back to flying, no snow, freezing rain, wind-chill, etc, so now's the time to do it{:>).

OK, always got to be one or two in the group.  So basically, you turn off everything with the key, fuel pump, EC2 and injectors - well, that should do it OK.

Good to hear from you, was beginning to wonder if you had headed up to North Country - I mean way up North.

Hi Ed;
    Ok, I just gotta be different. I just use the key switch to shut down. This removes power from the bus that feeds the injectors, ignition, EC2 & fuel pumps immediately. Engine shuts down instantly just like an auto, never had a problem using this method. In case anyone would point out the single mode failure, etc of this, I should also add that I have these items fed from my critical system/endurance buss so this switch can be bypassed.

Todd      (still using a stock turbo with no problems) (ok, so I don't actually have time to fly anymore, but I didn't have any problems, when I used to fly before I had a kid :-)
