A drawback to the Ross 3.17 is that you have to run a Four pinion planet.

And that is only if you can find one. I was never able to, and will be ground testing with a three pinion planet.

I realize your RWS drives are the shinizal ....
I'm looking at a Ross Areo 3.17:1 reduction drive with a bell
housing that is currently mounted on a single rotor 12a. I would like
to put it on a 13b. Can this thing be made to live with thrust bearing
modifications? Experiences? Any information at all?
