Hey you guys, here's your chance for fame and
fortune - well, actually probably neither, but you could show case the work
you have done on your rotary project - whether flying or not!
Get out the inkwell and quill point sharpener -
or use a typewrite or computer if you've got 'em.
Doesn't have to be long, doesn't have to be
prose, doesn't even have to be the truth - just write and make some outlandish
claim - like 250Hp at 4200 rpm {:>) or the unbelievable efficiency of
pinched ducts - that'll get some attention.
Time is running out and as much as some of you
guys write on the list - all you really have to do is grab a series of e mails
on a topic - arrange them in logical order, throw in a photo or two and you
are done.
Well, I didn't recognize the pilot on the cover
of CONTACT!, but I would recognize that cowl anywhere{:>). Must say,
it has much fewer bumps now.
Give it a shot. If Tracy can find time to
write an article with a phone stuck in his ear answering our questions, then
you certainly can do it. Besides, Tracy and I are getting tire of
all the fame and glory {:>) - we want some company.
Heck, we'd even let Rusty contribute
{:>)

Subject: [FlyRotary] FINAL CALL for
CONTACT! Magazine Articles!!!
Final request ...
Pat Panzera, of CONTACT! magazine, is HOPING to publish the next issue
of CONTACT! as an "all rotary all the time" issue. Tracy and Ed
Anderson have both contributed articles.
Pat has asked me to solicit the rotary community to see if he
can get at least 2 or 3 more articles. If he does not reach his goal,
he will have to publish non-rotary stuff instead.
His deadline is RAPIDLY approaching so... anything you can do to help
would be great!
Thanks,
Laura Crook
