Good to hear that Chuck made it to Copper
state. I had not heard that he was flying again after his rotor mis-hap in
Texas last Feb. Thanks for the report, Dale.

Hi folks,
Just got back home after a great stay at Shady Bend
and the Rotary Roundup. Sorry, some of you could not make it - it was a good
one. Seeing Tracy fire up his 20B for the first time was great!
The only down side is that I was the only rotary flyer to make it in due to
weather and other circumstances. One couple flew in (airline) from
Washington state to attend. Several make long car trips, from AR, MS,
NC and GA as well as from around Florida.
Chuck Dunlap made certain that
there was a flying rotary at this year's Copperstate Fly-in. I talked to
him Friday afternoon, and then he saddled up and flew home - halfway across
Arizona (about a four hour drive, and he probably got home quicker than I got
back to Mesa.) I got a photo of him leaving, but couldn't zoom in far
enough for it to be recognizable. The rotary sound made it easy to know
which RV was leaving, though.
Saturday morning, his RV was
back on the tarmac, cowl open for display. Good show, Chuck.
