Dale it's annoying when your confronted with take-off and landing charts and fuel calculations when you have different aircraft with different calculations some in Liters some Imperial gallons and some in US gallons.
I would assume most of you chaps only see the one system.

Why it is annoying - or why the different measures? 
In the latter case, it's clearly a manifestation of N.I.H.
