I think Guinea pig is probably closer = than professor though :-)=20 =20 please note that my -6A uses a large loop from the gear leg to the = caliper, which reduces the fatigue on this joint. It has worked fine for 1000 = hrs. Avoid a single tight bend, these don't take the flexing without = breaking. The inspector didn't like the loops, and said that they would vibrate, and break. = Since I knew that my RV-8 was done the same way, I didn't worry about it. I = don't think the loop would have been a problem, if the brakes didn't chatter. Anyway, these pads will get replaced, and hopefully, that will be the = end of the chattering problem.
