Rusty, or Whom ever you are ;-)

Paul Conner had a beautiful oil pan made by Todd ? (Bartrim or Parker). It was finned inside and out with individually welded finns about 3/4" apart. Had all the necessary holes and adaptors etc. Beautiful!!!

The best way I can think of to do this would be to use a thin aluminum plate for at least the bottom of the pan.  Ideally, it would have heatsink fins on both sides (milled away for the pickup tube on the inside).   Has anyone ever seen aluminum with fins on both sides?  Does anyone have a good source for finned aluminum of any type?

Thanks,
Rusty (sure don't want to mill my own)
