Greetings,

As I pre-think = some things=20 I want to try next, one of the thoughts is to make the oil pan into a=20 significant oil cooler if possible.  My proposed single rotor = applications=20 will have the engine out in the breeze, so it seems worthwhile to try to = get as=20 much cooling as possible from the airflow.

The best way I = can think of=20 to do this would be to use a thin aluminum plate for at least the bottom = of the=20 pan.  Ideally, it would have heatsink fins on both sides = (milled away=20 for the pickup tube on the inside).   Has anyone ever seen = aluminum=20 with fins on both sides?  Does anyone have a good source=20 for finned aluminum of any type?

Thanks,
