Hi Bill, sorry for delay, been buried in update & production work & out of town for few days.

The FBW controller design is complete and prototype is functional on the bench but that is not the same thing as being a finished product.  It has to be packaged (I hate that work) and users expect well defined parts and supplies of things like the power lever position sensor (I'm using a simple rotary pot on the bench).  And of course there is the inevitable feature creep.   The rpm and manifold pressure hold functions work on the bench but these are things that must be flight tested before production begins.   The hardware is in place for the EM2 data logging function but the EXCEL spreadsheet for displaying it is not complete yet.

Note that this controller is designed to work with the RX-8 throttle body which is not included with the controller.

Probably not of interest to this group but there is a version in development that will be a constant speed controller for the electric hub prop made by Vesta.  I may try one of these things on my RV-4.

Probably didn't answer your question but that is as close as I can come right now.

This question is for Tracy.
I assume that all the rework on the monitors is slowing down the work on
the renesis throttle body....Do you know when it might be available?  I
am very close to haveing to make a decision on throttle bodies and I
kinda wanted to try yours..:>)

Thanks,
Bill Bradburry
