They do not carry - nor will they make - 90deg bends in 321 stainless. They only have "U" bends and straight. I don't want anymore weld joints than needed and cutting a "U" and welding in a straight leg means at least 2 more welded joints than I really need. I haven't had good experience with welded joints - I want to minimize them :) Joe Hull Cozy Mk-IV N31CZ (65 hrs - Rotary 13B NA) Redmond (Seattle), Washington > -----Original Message----- > From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On > Behalf Of Blake Lewis > Sent: Wednesday, August 02, 2006 9:25 AM > To: Rotary motors in aircraft > Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Stainless 321 Tubing > > I know you guy have been dissing Paul lately, but his web site has > links to many resources: > Burns Stainles has .065 > "http://www.burnsstainless.com/321tubing/Ubends321/ubends321.html" > > Blake > > On 8/2/06, Joe Hull wrote: > > I'm having a heck of a time finding 321 Stainless mandrel bends in > anything > > larger than .049 wall.
