 See! I told you it was really very straight forward and simple!  I'm
impressed!
 That is indeed the conceptual underpinnings of the EDDIE. But, it took me a
looonnnngggg time to get pass the concept level and work out the equations.
But as I always say "Concepts are Easy...the Devil is in the Details".
There is a bit more complexity - not in the math, it stays simple algebra,
but in figuring out all the factors influencing the timing and how their
influence acted on the phenomon - and they are not all immediately apparent
(well, they certainly were not initially apparent to me).  Details at Shady
Bend.

P.S. Needed someone like you earlier to look over my shoulder and point out
the obvious.
