Subject: [FlyRotary] water pump bolts - warning

Rotarians,
After a run-up yesterday I noticed a very slow drip of coolant - about 1
drip every 10 seconds. I traced it to the water pump gasket. I looked
more carefully and saw that the three short bolts were missing. Gone. No
sign of them in the lower cowl either. I swear I put them in with
lock-tight.
I mention this to Buly during phone conversation. He had found his water
pump bolts loose recently too.
Something to watch out for.....
John

John,
Which lock-tight did you use? Don't some weaken with temperature. Looks like a high temp lock-tight is necessary in this location?  I recall different loosening torque values for different # lock-tights, is there a temperature rating on the various lock-tights?
