I have had no problem with them over my 8 years of flying with a rotary. Perhaps its because they are flying backwards? (Joke, couldn't help it). While this could certainly result in a serious condition - I guess its of some comfort to know you can loose all three short bolts and not have a catastrophic coolant failure.
