Hi, Perry....when my LongEZ was signed off for
first flight, I was told that only necessary crew could be aboard, and that if I
needed another person to watch gages, or assist in looking for anything out of
the ordinary, that person was necessary for the test flight. Maybe just

aircraft weight was approx 1700 lbs, as there was two of us on board and I
was carrying more fuel than necessary.
This is interesting. In
the USA we are not allowed to carry passengers until the 40 hour test period
is flown off.
