Tracy... I do not know how far out of the way this would be for you guys, but if you need a place to stay on the way, you are welcome to bunk at my place in Houston TX... EFD is my home base, but Clover/Pearland (KLVJ) is also an alternative for me. I was putting off the weather decision until late friday with a final check on Sat AM.. with a first light departure, and ETA to Pecan Plantation around 0900 local. I will be flying up in a spam can from LVJ Saturday morning, as Chris Barber and I both have work on Friday. Also, Ed... you say you are going on to San Antonio... Either of you, or anyone else flying a rotory is welcome to look me up on Sunday or swing by the field (EFD) and look at my (lack of) progress on the rotary (we also arent far from a few good lunch spots). If not this time, maybe next time around we will have the velocity flying, at it will be past the teething stage, and we can bring it to you some day. Dave Staten
