Had a nice tailwind. Stayed at 3500 ft and really enjoyed the view. Stopped at Lynch FBO, the best place to stop at Daytona Beach, as they do not charge a parking fee and 110LL is 3.20/gal. My old friend picked me up and we spent a few hours at his home, then drove his newly restored Triumph back to the airfield. I gave him his first airplane ride and he really enjoyed it. He has a fear of heights, so has been reluctant until now. Flew into the sun and wind coming home, climbed over 5000 ft to get over some clouds, but was usually at 4500 ft. The view of the sunsetting over the Gulf of Mexico was so breathtaking, I didn't want to hurry home. Three more hours on the hobbs, burned 20 gallons of mogas. Heavenly day.
