Russel, why don't you just mount the stock oil cooler in front (or rear) of
the current radiator?
That should keep you flying with a minimum of fuss,
I'd imagine.

I'll be
heading to the hanger in a few minutes, with a stock oil cooler in hand.
The plan was to take a look at doing just what you
suggest. Maybe it will work out. I also may have the
option of mounting the stock cooler in the right cheek, though I had planned to
lop off the front of the cheeks eventually. I'll see how well it
seems to fit, and maybe give it a try.
