TWINS TURBO is proud to introduce real race bred turbine heat shields to the public. We came into contact with Advance Thermal Products through our friends in the American Le Mans series. We noticed the factory Audi teams were using extraordinarily high quality heat shields for their turbine housings. We found out that cart also uses the same heat shields for their turbos as well. Traditionally we have been very hesitant in using the heat shields currently available on the market due to their low quality and poor fitment.

We had Advanced Thermal Products makes heat shields for us and are now going to offer this technology to the public for the first time. These heat shields are rated to withstand temperatures of 3000 degrees Fahrenheit. The idea behind using heat shields is to keep the heat trapped in the turbine housing to help using all of the available exhaust energy to move the turbine wheel. This will promote better response and spool up. As a side bonus, the heat shields help to reduce underhood temperatures by a huge amount, which makes them ideal for street use. the heat shields are a direct bolt on.
