This has almost no relation to in-flight cooling (or at least it shouldn't). If you DO manage to design a cooling system that will cool at full throttle on the ground, it is probably a disaster in terms of cooling drag while in-flight. I understand the desire to not fly untill you know it will cool in flight. That is why I would suggest the use of spray bars in front of the heat exchangers if you are in doubt. A couple of gallons of water and a windshield washer pump will keep the engine cool under almost any circumstances giving you the chance to get the plane back down without worring about burning up the engine. This doesn't have to be a fancy system since it is only for test. I spent about 30 minutes installing mine. Tracy
