I'm not sure it makes me feel any better, but it was entertaining :-) =20 As I was running the engine full throttle, I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting any boost from the turbo. Since the wastegate was wide = open, I was starting to think it might just keep the boost at zero. Next, I started very slowly closing the wastegate, which didn't produce a boost indication (because of the large leak in the hose) either. The only = thing it produced is the sound of air escaping. I assumed that it was coming = from the pop-off valve, but it sure sounded like it was coming from under the panel (thud, thud, thud).
