Them speeds are ok with big float planes but on small planes you need slower speeds or calm water and the problem is that you may land on calm water and 20 minutes later there are white caps on the water and you have to take off in it, water flying has a big learning curve, lots of fun to be had on the water and would never trade it for a land only plane.

Eustace's float design and inventory is actually for sale. Ken tells me that float planes that touch down at 55-60 mph can take a big beating in rough water, and that slower speeds are needed.
