Hi Tommy,

I mispoke (senior moment) about my cowl exit area, I measured it today and it is 4.5x28" which gives me close to a 1.7 ratio not counting the louvers.

Ed, If your flap outlet area is 3x20=60sq" .  Your oil cooler inlet is ~24sq" and (at 1:1 ratio) that would leave only ~36sq"/2=18sq" for each rad inlet.   Since they seem larger than that, how do you get by with the relatively small inlet to outlet ratio,  that is less that 1:1?

Does this question make sense?  I'm trying to redesign my oulet size to a total of something larger than inlet area which I estimate at a total ~90sq"
