From photos I have seen the manifold fits very close to the arch of
the
housings.......Did you catch the oil filter pad bypass cast as part of
the
manifold ??
I saw the
pad, but didn't know what it was. I looked at the old manifold pics
earlier, and saw how closely they fit, but couldn't find pics of the new
one. I really could use a new intake on the RV-3, and I'll buy one of
these in a heartbeat, as long as it's reasonably priced.
Also the throttle butterfly opening is about 7.5mm (2.95
inches)
When I looked
at the pic with the ruler, I initially thought "7 inches, damn", then I
remembered that converting to metrics lie they told us in school 30 years ago
:-)
