Well, all I can tell you is that is what Tracy is flying. On the other hand he's violently opposed to milling pockets in the plate as proposed by Paul Lamar and actually done by some unfortunate individuals (some of the pockets being in the high stress areas where the full thickness is most needed). I guess some are gifted with the ability to visualize stress lines and distribution where others need FEA. But I guess I should defer to Tracy .... Finn
