Rememeber that you might have some negative pressure in there on transients and the flap will always be operating, so make sure it is stout. Some have a built in latch that you can open on command. BTW, I ran into low intake pressure that was due to blocked filter that caused the alt air door to open all the time. Having the thing moving a lot will cause a broken intake air flapper-and possible parts ingestion.
