if you
have your plane certified for a high weight then you won't get into legal
trouble for flying "over gross weight". I have not heard of anyone getting
busted for over gross weight ops in the private aviation field - but I also
never heard that a speeding ticket was droped because the driver was at a
"physically safe speed" above the posted limit. Remember, the government is here
to help you ;-) so protect yourself.
