towards the areobatic weight.
Exactamundo. The official limit is "1050 plus the weight
of fuel in the wings". The unspoken part is whether this allows you
to exceed the original 1100 lb gross weight, which was conceived when the
plane had a 25 gallon fuselage tank. Van himself will be giving me a
ruling on this very soon. Also, rest assured that I understand that you
can't change the laws of physics by publishing a higher gross weight :-)
