Rotary rebuilds in Cajun country is not for the faint of heart {:>) - = actually, the only problem is there are simply no rotary houses around = and every part has to be shipped in. Fortunately, my farmer = brother-in-law had most of the tools and a garage to do the rebuild in. = I did rediscovery why I don't come back home often - the heat and = particularly the humidity just about did me in. Want to thank your all for your suggestions and particularly those of = you who offered to travel considerable distances to render assistance. = This time it appears I got all the parts together correctly with no = undue "tightness". Coolant pressure remained below 10 psi for the = entire trip - so appears the hot spots on the side housings did not warp = them and the rings are holding.
