believe it or not, the chapter is making a concerted effort to visit other type projects at their monthly meetings.   technically the homewing became chapter 102, so it doesn't exist I guess.  a bunch of politics I didn't want to be part of.  I realized everything I need to know comes from this group, so never made the transition.  I was feeling less and less a part of the new trend towards $100K+ RV's.  imagine, I had more x/c hrs than anyone else but don't even have a gyro in my plane. (how did I ever avoid all that terrain? :-)

you can join the RV Homewing, now chapter 105, and use their $4000 balancer for free. guess that doesn't help all you southerners though.

At least you’re closer to me than Rusty.  But a composite airplane with the propeller on the back would probably not be allowed in the RV Homewing.
