I called Cleveland Brake tech support, many years ago, they
said that their brakes were compatible with all brake fluids.

I used Dot 3 for five years.  I did have a few problems with
it, as it boils at 275 degrees F.  A year or two ago, I found
a new synthetic DOT 3 fluid, which boils at over 500 Deg F.
I bought it at Autozone. This has worked much better.
