I just had a meeting with a chap in the racing game who specialises in P-port - do you know what size he recommends for all round performance, you guessed it 38mm ( 1.5"). Now Jerry will be glad to hear this!

Hi George,

Is this guy limited to 38mm for some racing rules, or does he just think that's best?  Since he's building race engines, with the size ports that are being theorized as optimum, can you post some dyno runs of one of his engines?  I still think it would be interesting to see how the PP compares to a conventional street port REW in the 7000-7500 range that we're interested in.  I'm sure we could get dyno reports from Lynn or Leon from various bridge ports, and street ports for comparison.

How much HP do you expect to get from your PP Renesis, and at what RPM?  Since you're making your own gear drive, are you planning to try to get a higher ratio, to take advantage of the PP?

Cheers,
Rusty (got several housings, but not convinced I should punch extra holes in them)
