I've actually decided against using Jim Weirs design and decided that I want to do this using microprocessor design instead. In the meantime the inspector told me that I must have fuel gauges on all of my auxiliary tanks before he will inspect (scheduled for this weekend). Now the regs only call for a means of fuel level indication on the mains only, but he is arguing that all of my tanks are main tanks. Now I'm certain that I could win this argument if I took it far enough, but I feel that he could and is willing to drag this out for as long as necessary. The alternative is that I cap off the extra tanks and only apply for Van's gross weight of 1750 lbs. I feel that this is really what he wants as they are very much against increased GW, but due to recent changes their is little they can do about it. So I just ordered from Van's the EI capacitive gauge with extra converters which I will wire into a toggle switch to select tanks that I want to read from. This was a very expensive option and I only plan to use it temporarily, to satisfy his inspection as I still plan to either roll my own or preferably just have it monitored by the EM2. Maybe I can sell it afterwards. I just can't see my otherwise completed airplane sitting in a hanger while I'm experimenting with microcontrollers, so I just beat my MasterCard a little further into submission. (Gee, I hope it still has a little life in it when the EM2 is ready :-) S. Hi Rino;
        Thanks for the link, I'll check them out. I've actually = decided against using Jim Weirs design and decided that I want to do = this using microprocessor design instead.

This was a very expensive option and I = only plan to use it temporarily, to satisfy his inspection as I still = plan to either roll my own or preferably just have it monitored by the = EM2. Todd,

    There is a company in Florida selling = contact sheets for making printed
    circuits.  It is called Toner = Transfer System.  That's what I use, it is
    easy to do.  The company is: = DynaArt Designs
