"Whose" /would/ it be?  What's to prevent some from hijacking it (or trying to)?  You gonna' appoint officers?
Wondering what's actually gonna' happen here ... Jim S.

Dave,
I think this is an excellent idea, I am building an Acro Sport 1 (my 3rd biplane) and plan on using a PPort 13b. I am one of many here that would benefit greatly from this but, unfortunately, would have little to contribute, other than posting questions:)
I like the name proposals that have come up and I also have to agree with Thomas Jakits 100% concerning PL. I am a member of both lists and understand the problem but, this organization would not be "his." He would only be able to contribute as he saw fit. I would have no problem with him inspecting my installation as "one of many."
I will volunteer to help in any way I can but you might have to "search" to find a way I can help you.
My only credentials are that I have a computer. I am reasonably good at CAD, I have built 2 V-8 powered SkyBolts, I was plant manager for George Morse (Prowler Aviation) for 3 years and wrote the instruction/assembly manual for the Prowler.  The fact that I am "rotary stupid" pretty well cancels out all of the above :)
No aircraft at the moment but I am in Nashville (S.W.) Michigan.
Randy
