Regarding Airequip verses clamped coolant hoses. Airequip & equivalent are great but pricey & heavy. A good quality industrial hose such as (DuraTemp Silicone hose in Canada) it has a red inside liner & a green outside & are used on industrial applications. With these (or any other clamped hoses) you should use the spring loaded SS hose clamps used on industrial & marine applications (the spring behind the screw head keeps constant pressure on the clamp. The other IMPORTANT thing is that any pipe or fitting that you connect to hoses MUST have a barb or bump to avoid  the possibility that the hose may slip off. A pressure test (at least 20%) above your pressure cap rating should be done on a regular basis as part of your maintenance schedule. I am sure that equivalent hose material is available in other countries. One more thing when installing a hose, never "lubricate" to make it easier to slip the hose onto the fitting it will make it easier to slip off as well.
