Vernon is about 45minutes away by road, I'm not aware of any private strips around here at this point, but I've heard of a guy close by who is rebuilding an A/C I'll check with him . At this point the tube fuselage is 95% finished, the flaps , ailerons, wing ribs, rudder are built. At this point when the "honey do list" doesn't interfere I'm getting my 13b components together, I have Tracy's RD-3, EC-2 & EM2. I also have a set of 2300 floats & gear lined up. Being that in my pre "Fishing Resort Life" I built engines I'm keen on getting my "fire wall forward" together. I think I'll be using an IVO Magnum 84" 2 blade electric controllable pitch prop.

I'm just a ways north of you up in Prince George. Actually I'm only here on the weekends as weekdays I'm at BCIT in Vancouver. I've already looked at Lumby for airstrips but it looks like the nearest published strip is 30K away in Vernon. Are there any private strips closer to you? I was thinking of visiting during the summer when I have the time and take a look at your project.
