The NTSB
participants were totally inept
I was an eye witness to a double fatal midair just east of CMH on approach
to 28 left. I held the fuselage up high enough for the farmer to determine life
in the instructor and student.
The farmer was on his hands and knees in a growing puddle of fuel.
I stopped the fireman from starting his stink wheel saw while standing in
that fuel.
I called the local FAA office and gave them the story and my name and
numbers at work and home. I called them again the next day and did that again. I
never once talked to anyone interested in anything I had to say. No calls back.
No forms to fill out. Nothing ever.
The FAA may have been at the least partially at fault in the
collision.
I have a very low opinion of the FAA.
