What puzzles me is that the EC2 checked out just fine when I sent it back last time. I had about 10 hours on it, and then it quit working. Tracy declared it to be in perfect condition --------------------------------- Tracy's bench is not perfect, believe it or not :>) He thought my control was OK that he returned when we were at Lakeland RV flyin Jan. But it was no good. I had replaced the switch when he flew in with another control. The new control ran the engine and I thought the old one was my problem. I changed the switch back to original confiquration and burned the new one. Yuk , what patience Tracy has. He changed it out and I'm not ever planning to go back to the DPDT switch arrangement. Apparently it was only blowing the cold start circuit of the chip and Tracy's bench someway missed it the first time. He confirmed the original one was bad when he took it home. Bernie, feel your frustration John
