Hi John,
I sent Carol a note after removing Paul's subscription. I didn't want her to feel "excommunicated", nor did I want her to be inundated with the usual rotary tech talk that will continue to go on around here even though Paul is no longer with us. She has much more important things to deal with at this most trying of times than weeding out messages of condolences from disucssions of intake manifolds, timing issues, prop balancing and all the other technical matters that happen here as a simple matter of course. I just hope that my handling of this extremely sensitive matter was accepted in the manner in which it was offered.

I have removed Paul's subscription to FlyRotary.
Marv & others. Speaking of the tragedy my wife commented that, in Carol's
place, she would NOT wish to be "excommunicated" from all of Paul's friends
and other rotary enthusiasts. Certainly not unilaterally, without being
consulted. In fact she'd want to be closely involved in any discussion
and/or fact finding that might occur.
Carol may wish to post, ask questions or otherwise seek companionship in the
coming weeks. Of course she could resubscribe under her own name, but being
simply cut off might be a shock to her, and might be taken the wrong way.
Has anyone spoken to her on this?
John
