The story was provided by a local builder who was a local judge and seemed sympathetic to our cause. The discription of events didn't, that is DID NOT sound like an engine failure. It sounded more like a rigging or structural failure. FWIW It is a good idea to have people that know the aircraft involved in the investigation they can more objectively describe what likely happened.
