You will need pins 7 (serial out) and 27 (serial in).  Both units can "talk" and "listen".

Since I’m wiring the EC-2 connector tomorrow, can you verify what wires I need to make available for connection to the EM-2?  There’s one pin labeled serial out to future engine monitor.  Is that the only wire I need?  How about the EIS tach wire, or the one that says it goes to the future fuel flow instrument (O2 sensor)?  Are any of the previously unused pins used now?
